BACKGROUND

I began my career with the Evansville-based public accounting firm Harding Shymanski & Company PSC, specializing in both income and estate taxation. While there, I developed a passion for economic markets and, in 1998, received the highest score nationally among all applicants taking the PFS exam. Shortly thereafter, I joined Pettinga Financial Advisors.

As a firm, we’re trustworthy and service-oriented with a strong technical background, and constantly looking for opportunities to help our clients increase the chances of meeting their objectives. PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY

Being a CPA, a PFS, and a CFP® gives me different lenses for examining our clients’ situations. I can bring investment knowledge, tax knowledge, and financial planning expertise to the table.  And, since we don’t sell products, we can put our client’s interests first.

We’re proactive in reaching out and helping clients meet their objectives, and we’ve taken the time to earn and maintain professional credentials.  Performance comes and goes; we can’t control the market.  However, we always have a solid understanding of what our clients are invested in and why.
